Dog dental care that fits your routine

Healthy teeth aren't just about fresh breath — they protect the heart and kidneys too.
Dental disease is one of the most common preventable problems in dogs. Plaque hardens into tartar within days, leading to gum inflammation, tooth loss, and bacteria that can spread to internal organs.
Daily brushing with a dog-specific toothpaste is the gold standard. Start by letting your dog lick the paste off your finger, then progress to a soft brush over several weeks. Even three times a week helps.
Dental chews and water additives can reduce plaque, but they don't replace brushing. Look for products with the VOHC seal, which means they've been tested for effectiveness.
Bad breath, drooling, pawing at the mouth, or reluctance to chew hard toys are signs it's time for a professional cleaning. A dental exam is a routine part of every wellness visit.
